Kianoosh Hosseini

I was born and raised in Talesh, a paradise-like place in Iran. At age 18, I moved to Tabriz city of Iran to pursue my bachelor's and master in Radiology Technology and Medical Imaging Technology.

I am currently a Cognitive Neuroscience Ph.D. student at NDCLab (PI: Dr. George Buzzell) at Florida International University (FIU). I am broadly interested in studying the underlying neural and cognitive processes involved in cognitive control, their development, and their relations to social anxiety, using neuroimaging techniques (EEG, fMRI) with various computational and behavioral methods.
